Resident Teacher
Vajrayana Buddhist Master
Sambodhi Gyan Prabha is a Nepali-Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhist centre in Yau Ma Tei. Our name means the light of awakened wisdom, and the Centre keeps that light in an ordinary way: butter lamps are offered, prayers are chanted, and the door is open.
Khenpo Karma Gyalpo, our resident teacher, leads practice and teaches in Nepali, with English and Cantonese explanation as needed.
You don't need to be a Buddhist to come, and you don't need to know the chants. Take off your shoes at the door, sit where you're comfortable, and stay as long as you like.
A practice that supports both your physical and mental well-being.
Improve mobility, stability, and overall body awareness through slow, controlled, mindful movement that supports strength, balance, and flexibility.
Release built-up physical and mental tension through calming, gentle, intentional movements that help you relax, reset, and restore.
Buying animals destined for slaughter and returning them safely to the water — a practice of compassion done together.
Clear your mind and reduce daily distractions by focusing on movement, breath, and awareness to create a calm, steady, and focused state.
Blessings for births, marriages, new homes, and prayers for the departed — arranged with the family.
Create a routine that feels natural and easy to maintain, with flexible classes that fit your schedule and support long-term habits.
Go deeper in your practice through guided experiences, seasonal workshops, and mindful gatherings designed for growth and connection.
